Bottle Deposits

Becoming as sustainable as possible is one of our core business philosophies, so we’ve added a $1 bottle deposit onto every Escarpment Kombucha bottle! Returning and reusing bottles is the best way to make glass a sustainable packaging choice, since recycling it uses almost as much energy as making new glass. Deposits help us lower our packaging costs, which allows us to compete on price with larger kombucha brands, and gives us a bonus way to say thank you to you, the customer!

Option 1: Participating Retailer drop off

These awesome retailers of Escarpment Kombucha accept returns on our behalf. Simply rinse your bottles and drop them off to receive your deposit at checkout - and be sure to grab yourself something nice while you’re there.

Option 2: Porch Pick-Up

Every other Wednesday we’ll be driving door-to-door in Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Waterdown, Stoney Creek, Oakville and Burlington, making deliveries and picking up our rinsed caps, growlers and bottles to be sorted, sanitized, and put back into circulation! Please contact us directly at hello@escarpmentkombucha.com, or follow us on social media for special delivery announcements if you are outside of these areas and are interested in returning bottles.

To set up a delivery, fill out our form linked below. Then, on delivery day, just leave your bottles out for us to grab on pick-up - the deposits will be applied to your order as a discount. So easy!
